Twas the Night Before Christmas

Christmas Eve brings about the "Borowski" family Christmas...this includes Fyllings and whoever else happens to be around!

After a day filled with baking cookies for Santa and cleaning up last night's disasterous mess, we all got ready for the festivities and headed over to a very full church.

In a tradition that no one wants to end, we all ate WAY too much Stacky-Uppy for dinner! Ty LOVED it and ate whatever anyone gave to him!

While presents were being passed out Ty went to hang out with his buddy, Gramps.

When it was finally time to open presents, where was the little man? Well, underneath the tree playing, of course!

Tim was quite enthused about his "old school" wool hunting clothes, leather quiver, and arrows.

Matt & Stephanie got toasty underneath Matt's new, gigantic, Vikings quilt.

Morgan & Emily got...well...I'm not entirely sure exactly...some guitar stuff...slippers...candles.........

Halfway through gift-opening we drug Ty away from the Christmas tree...just to have him stand at the fireplace with his roll-on soaps from Gramps & Grams! He stood there for the remainder of everyone else's gift opening counting..."One...Doo...Ree!"

When I was finally able to convince the little man to open a gift, it just happened to be some awesome John Deere toys and the little guy disappeared into the kitchen to push his new tractor around!

The distraction was a good thing...because then Grampie, Uncle Timmy, and Auntie Em were able to bring Ty's present from the family down and set it up in the living room while he wasn't there. Let me tell ya...was he ever excited about this...

Uncle Timmy, as well as almost everyone else in the house, also showed off their skills (or lack there-of!) on Ty's new drums! (I will upload a video clip of Ty playing drums tomorrow!)

Jordan and Zac were pumped about their zero gravity remote control cars! (Not sure why the picture of Jordan is so dark, sorry!)

As most of you know, my mom is a huge enthusiast of The Goodwill. This year, she bought everyone a gift from The Goodwill.

As you can see, Zac was very excited about his gift.

What was it? Why...Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo! (He talks, too!)

It was a very musical night as there were many drum solos as well as a lot of guitar-strumming happening.

At the end of the night, with a very tired boy and a very tired dog, I made good use of the new Astrostart we were surprised with tonight! (I should've known something was up when Dad picked up my car to get it washed this morning and it was gone for hours!)

Thank you, everyone for the great gifts! I will try to get pictures of Ty playing with his kitchen, snuggling his new blankie, and sporting his new John Deere sweatshirt soon!
