I wasn't entirely sure how Ty would do with the zoo since he was so little...I had NO IDEA he would have so much fun!!!!! He had a great time watching all the animals but his absolute favorite were the giraffes...they were centrally located so we walked by them a number of times and he CRIED whenever we left them! He also really liked the little monkeys with the mustaches!
Zebras (Did you know that there is a light khaki-colored striped in the middle of the white on zebras?!)

Ty also liked the statues because he could touch them =D
Como Zoo has a county-fair-like park attached to it, so we stopped for a snack on our way out...Ty and I shared a soft pretzel.
Ty played with his two souveniers, a stuffed giraffe from Kayla and a toy giraffe he pulled off the shelf himself, all the way back to Kayla's apartment!
Como Zoo was GREAT! These are the animals we saw:

Ostrich (and some other strange bird)
Cougars
Tiger
Lion
Reindeer
Big-horn Sheep
Orangutan (walked RIGHT in front of us!)
Gorillas
Mustache Monkeys (don't know what they're really called)
Fish
Penguins (two types)
Flamingos (with some renegade ducks)
