Allie's FIRST Parade

Allie was very excited to experience her first parade in the itty bitty town of Elizabeth, MN. We started out the HOT HOT experience with a trip to the ice cream stand...maybe three bites were eaten before it had melted all over my hand and fell on the ground. Because the ice cream was a disaster, we flagged down the wagon full of GIANT ice pops for her and Ty. They were a big hit!

We were quite early for the parade. After the ice pops were gone, Allie and Ty decided to hang out in Ty's stroller for awhile.

Here are the munchkins watching the parade.

Allie was SO CUTE! She saw how the Dairy Princess was waving right at the beginning of the parade and did her own version of the beauty queen wave for the rest of the day! (instead of side to side, up and down) There was A TON of candy to show for Allie's waving efforts! I believe there is a photo on the Fylling's blog!
