As many of you know, Zac has been at Mayo for Round #2 this week. In early November he came home from work with a terrible headache and began fainting that night. After seeing a number of different doctors and specialists he was able to get down to Mayo a few weeks ago for some initial testing. At the beginning of this week his primary doctor at Mayo said that they would have some answers for him before he would be going home...he comes home next Wednesday.
The answer is basically that his spells are NOT epileptic seizures, as we had thought previous to his trip this week. The doctors are currently examining different medication regimens to control his episodes so life can get back to normal. The doctors in Fergus will do the adjusting to his medications until they are at a steady, therapeutic level.

I hope Zac is feeling better--I am sure he will be glad to get home! Have the Mayo docs come up with a diagnosis for him? Glad to hear that it isn't epileptic seizures...
Thanks for the update, Heather. I'm sure Zac will be eager to return home. We will keep on praying for accurate diagnosis and treatment and, of course, healing. What a hard time for your young family. We care and we love you.
