Family Vacation -- Thursday

On Thursday morning, after a super french toast breakfast, we hopped into our SUVan and went to the Superior Lake Zoo. Despite a bit of rain here and there, we had a good time watching Ty enjoy the animals!





His souvenir was this lovely lemur...which was his favorite animal he saw that day! (His other favorite were the big, gross BATS!)



We ended our day with a quick jaunt to Canal Park in downtown Duluth. We were there for a purpose...to meet up with my old employers and always friends, Mark and Sharilyn Walters, for ice cream. It was great to see them and they even treated us to our ice cream (thanks again) and some GREAT raw honey!
