Today was Emily & Morgan's first track meet of the year! (They were supposed to have one last week, but it was postponed because of cruddy weather.) Despite the nasty, freezing wind, the girls did very well! The meet today was feild events and relays....plus the individual one mile run. I forgot all about bringing my camera when Zac and I were packing the puggle into the car, but you can see pictures on Sheri's blog after she posts them.
I didn't have a chance to talk to Morgan at the end of the meet, and she had no idea how she had done in the Triple Jump or the Long Jump. She also ran in the 400 Meter Relay and her team did very well.
Emily took 5th Place in the Discus. She also ran in the very last event of the meet, the One Mile Run...into the wind...no fun! She ran her mile in 8:26, one of her personal bests!

Good Going Emily & Morgan. It is great that Zac and Heather were able to make the meet even with nasty weather.
