Friday & Saturday marked this year's HIT's (Hillcrest Invitational Tournament--Basketball). For the last couple of year's our family has had two teams, this year was no different. Leading up to HIT's left us wondering if we were actually going to have enough players to even make it through the tournament--Zac sprained his ankle in a pick-up game a few days before and many of the players weren't sure if they would make it because of other commitments. Of course we really started to get nervous when the forecast predicted 10" of snow on the traveling day, but everyone made it...some who weren't even planning on coming at all! Both teams won their first games in OT on Friday night. Saturday brought on two more games for one team, who lost the first and won the second taking 3rd place in their division. The other team had three games on Saturday, they won the first and lost the second two (although in their final game both teams were goofing around more then anything). Scott hurt his ankle early in Friday's game, but was able to play on Saturday. Jeremy took a kidney shot, but was back in the game within a few minutes. The only trip to the ER was for poor little Allie, who was having some breathing troubles (ER doc said it was from a headcold).

On Saturday night Timmy's band, A Bridge From Normal, played at a benefit concert for a girl in town who is going to missionary training. As always, it was loud...so loud it blew a fuse in their final song! Timmy tore off part of his fingernail in the first song, but kept on playing anyway =D I love watching the boys!

On Sunday after church I headed over to Sheri's house for a family Baby Shower while everyone could be together =D It was a ton of fun and Baby T got TONS of great gifts! Kayla, Kari & Grandma Kay came up with a Baby Bingo game and brought yummy desserts. Kayla also made an adorable diaper cake! Shana and "The Girls" (Morgan, Emily, Abby) wrote a poem that the girls read. It was a very fun time! THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE FOR THE GREAT GIFTS! (Pictures will be added in a separate post soon, along with the poem that was written for the shower!)

It was a fun weekend in Fergus for the Klimies! We can't wait to see everyone again in a month--hopefully there will be a new little guy there for us to meet then. No pressure though! :-)
