Ty and I started out the day by visiting The Flower Mill and The Dollar Tree for flowers and balloons for the cemetery. We picked up Mom and went out to finish the decorating process. (The night before I had filled the planters and done some clean-up.)
This year, in addition to the flowers and balloon, we brought out a Tinkerbell doll with three cherry Dum-Dum suckers in her hand. There was a little pewter angel hanging from a hook next to her stone as well, but I'm not sure who brought that.
Lorraine Vold, Hannah's great-grandma, passed away last fall. She and Hannah shared the same birthday!
Hannah's photo albums and scrapbooks were out for her little "party". Of course, we had Dum-Dum suckers too! Everyone who came got a Tinkerbell sticker. We had a utensil-less supper of hot dogs (on Grandma Kay Hot Dog Buns!), chips, watermelon, cheese, pickles, and ice cream treats.
Ty got the Tinkerbell movie in honor of his sissy's birthday.

We miss our little Hannah Rochele--Abby was talking about her and wondering how big she would be today at six years. Seems like just yesterday...

Yes, it was a nice party and we do miss our little Hannah Rochele, but we know she is happy and healthy and having lots of wonderful adventures in Heaven where we will see her again some day. God is good always, and knows what is best. How blessed we are to be His beloved children.
Hannah is not forgotten....and it is nice that you have some good memories.
