Ty started his preschool workbook. While trying to get a picture to document the occasion I sat him at the table and told him to give me a happy face...well...after attempting to get a real smile out of him I gave up and settled for this:
After a brief moment or two of absolute hysterics because he made a mistake so everything needed to be erased so he could start it all over, he decided that he likes his workbook and continued to work on it for about an hour. (Don't worry, he figured out that holding his pencil that high isn't very effective pretty quickly!)
So, there you have it! Ty has started his school...albeit homeschooling from workbooks, its still school!
